    FYI
Claire's nail polish has never failed to produce the color I need. You may creep out a bunch of tweens while you are there rifling through the colors though.

If it helps, the color specification# is YS-9547.

Its fairly close to a Jaguar color they used a couple of years ago. If you go into your local auto parts store that carries touch-up paint, take a look at the Jaguar touch-up paint section.

    Hope that helps,

Doesn't help the paint situation, but I got some helicopter tape and put it on the down tube, head tube, chain, and seat stays to help protect the frame. Best part, it's virtually invisible and easy to apply with a little patience. Good info about the color matching, thanks BDF.

Do you have the paint code for the white used on the guardians?

Sorry, I don't have a special code for the Guardian Gloss White, it's just a bright, clean gloss white. Should almost be the easiest color to touch up in our line. Good luck!

White can be tricky. If you get the wrong shade it looks like dried bird crap.

I understand that, having been a car-nut and bike-nut for years. But white is still easier to find a match for than shades of grey or colors. Plus its non-metallic which makes it easier.

    Thanks,
