    Guardian 2.0

The Guardian was delivered last night at 9pm. The FedEx guy was late. It took me about two hours slowly putting the bike together. I trued both front and rear wheels, adjusted front and rear derailleurs, adjusted headset, trued the brake rotors as they were dragging. I'm pretty excited as it's my first good mountain bike (I'm replacing my Target Schwinn). The black and red color combination just looks awesome!

Very nice! Great bike and I dig the color too.

Now go get it dirty and ditch the reflectors.

Looks killer 'cept for the winkys!
Money doesn't buy happiness, but you can buy a bike, and that is pretty close.

You had to true the wheels out of the box? That's disappointing. I just ordered one of these for my daughter. Isn't that stem awfully long for a 16" frame?

When I got mine, not only did I not need to true them out of the box, they're still very true ~100 miles later. I didn't get a guardian, but I imagine the majority of them come "good."

It's not really out of true but there's there's a bit lateral wobbling. It's not a problem though but I wanted to do a complete tune-up before I rode the bike.

The stem is not that long. I think it looks longer in the photo due to the perspective of the camera.
