Goblin crank is loose and clicking
So, how do I tighten the crank arm is there a special tool to do this?
Just got the bike last week and rain has kept me from riding. Now when I am pedaling, the right side crank has a clicking noise. I can torque move the crank and watch it move in the bottom bracket.

Please leave a voicemail with your call-back # and issue and you will get a return call. We are busy with a lot of calls so we can't get everyone as they come in, but we will return your call, thanks~

Re: Goblin crank is loose and clicking
It's on the drive side right? The dust seal on the bottom bracket might have backed out. Is there play in the crank on the drive side?

Dude, grease your pedals- same thing happened to me. Wasn't the bracket- it was the damn pedals needing grease.

Dude, I wish I had video to show you the whole mechanism is moving....it is not the pedal. I was contacted by Eric at Airborne today and he said some of the bikes are missing two 2.5 mm spacers, and that is causing the slop. He is sending out the spacers and footing the bill to have them installed. Again, Airborne customer device is making a name for themselves.

Wow, I wish I woulda known they would have footed the bill! I would have saved $25 on the spacers and bb tool.....

Just an update, mine ended up needing the spacers in the crank. Seems like the factory might have missed quite a few of these.

I noticed a click here and there over the weekend, but it was intermittant. Is this the same issue?
-
We've already went thru and fixed any that had missing spacers in the warehouse. So this is not an issue at all going forward with any orders.
Sometimes cranks do make an occasional noise. Check to ensure they are tight and also check the chainring bolts. Lastly check the pedals.

My crank was clicking every revolution, took it to a bike shop while I was on vacation and they tore it apart, added the spacers and I have had no problems since.
