    Florida Airborne BBQ & Ride!

Just throwing this around as I am guessing there will be many more Airborne purchases before summer. I was thinking it would be cool to plan a BBQ and ride somewhere in central Florida for the Airborne peeps say maybe October - Novemberish. Maybe like do a morning Santos ride then BBQ,camp and ride the next morning! Of course all is welcome! Would be cool to do this. Your thoughts!

Are vegans such as myself or a Lance Armstrong welcome? We wouldn't get tarred or feathered would we?

Absolutely, it would be for everyone and you would bring your own food and beverage! Just a gathering of the crew and whoever else wants to hang out!

I've been on a mostly meatless diet for the past 2 weeks trying to get back down to fighting weight (also no bread, grains, rice, dairy, gluten, starches, etc).

I will say that big portabella mushroom caps taste great grilled!

Absolutely. Even better if you top them some bread crumbs mixed in a bowl with olive oil and basil (finally chopped). Should be mixed with enough oil so it is tacky not wet. Place on the mushrooms and top off with some mozzarella cheese. OMG !!

Not saying tons of carbs and fat in the mix as you don't need as lot, Jeremy.

Oh yes, maybe a pinch of salt.

Sorry got carried away and forgot this is a bike forum.

    Count me in!

I bought a juicer awhile back and it has helped me a great deal with losing some weight and increasing my energy. I still love a good steak or burger on occasion, just not as often as I used too.

Can you vegans eat animal crackers? ;-)

Bring your juicer! LOL I do portabellas with olive oil, sea salt, minced garlic and feta! So Jeremy what is it you eat? I'm interested as I've cut back on dairy, bread and like soda and sugar beverages.

Basically I eat (a lot) of fruits, greens, vegetables, and some nuts for protien. Just worked in a grilled chicken breast or two this week but that's more of a treat thing.

No dairy, wheat, rice, grains, processed garbage, etc.

Been doing this for almost three weeks and have dropped 13lbs.

I allow myself one "cheat" meal per week, which is usually friday nite on date-nite with SWMBO.

It's not a "plan" as far as something like "Adkins", but it is from a local nutritionist. Its a bit of a modified cave-man diet, if you've ever heard of that.

Does your modified cave-man diet allow beer?

I would be in for that! I've been wanting to go back to Santos, anyway. As long as older Airbornes are welcome, that is
