Wow, a true dream bike. Never noticed the interesting disc mount and the slight bow of the seatstays just before the dropouts...beautiful work for sure. Congrats, and be sure to update pics of the build!
She's a 19" frame with a 65L0012 serial number so she's pretty special.
Weight sits around the 2kg range, I tried measuring her on the wife's digital kitchen scales but not very accurate. Built up she should be in the 11kg ball park. Pretty sweet for a steel frame 650b hardtail .

the old m717 disc rim hope pro 2 15gr it replaces weighs744g with a cloth rim strip.
Pic of the wheel in the fox forks 10mm clearance from the top of a knob to the botton of the fork arch. so not really a winter ride, I don't mind that's what I have my single speed for
a few more pics it begs the question could i have done all of this with my KHS frame, once the rear wheel is build I will check the clearance on the seat & chain stays. From all accounts it raises the BB by 20mm.
Man, I love those Ritchey frames. I should've got one when I had the chance (the P-29er). I have a SwissCross for CX and it's one of my favorite bikes. Beautiful.

unlike the ritchey web site pics the brake hose is run along the LH side of the top tube and down the seat stay.
I wanted a new frame to but didn't want a 29er so when I saw this I just had to get one. There are a few left at the importers here in NZ. But I bet they go pretty quickly once word gets out they have them.
Waiting for the headset, and the rear wheel to be built. The pics are less the head set & with the hope Pro 2 blue 26" rear wheel in. The new wheel will match the front red Hope Pro 2 Evo with the blue 160 rotor & blue QR.
She feels sub 11kg............... Pretty good for a 19" steel frame. Once completed she will be going on the electronic scales
Very nice. I rode with someone who was demoing the P- 29 version and they said the frame was not noticeably flexy, impressive for steel, they really liked it. Post up a ride report when you have some time on it.
Nice bike and also from an extraordinary man. Tom Ritchie is about the opposite
of Steve Jobs, yet as much popular icon one can be. He is very generous and offers frames (like the one you have) for many charity rides and events.
Ritchey spear headed the Project Rwanda organization which does fund raising for poor
Rwanda farmers whose families must walk for miles to water, the market and for medical attention.. It helps provides bikes and parts for those who cannot afford such luxuries.
Man, that turned out really nice, and at a really good weight for a steel hardtail. Only thing that could make the bike look better would be dirt plastered all over her from a long trail ride, which I'm sure you'll remedy in the near future!
she has been on a gravel road already so dust coated now, A session on the local single trails this pm. No mud at the moment as we are in summer in NZ 30+C everyday.
First ride impressions she is surprisingly stiff for such small tubes, I sit more in the bike than my 26ers, yet she is very nimble and the weight or lack of it can be felt.
