Looking good, great to see the shorter travel 120mm option. It been 130-160 trail/am segment thus far aside from the hardtails. Wonder if KHS will be offering frame only options?
Love the paint on the 29 FS bikes and these Six Fifty hardtails:
I have the 2012 609 hardtail frame and there are a few QC/design issues. Very disappointed in the company, as soon as somebody else brings out a 650b carbon hardtail I will be making the change.

Do tell what your issues are. I am aware of a few people who get carbon frames warranteed on a regular basis. The things just develop cracks.

The medium frame will not accept a tapered steerer fork despite having a tapered headtube, it's too short for the headset bearing to ideally clear the tapered bulge. There was nothing mentioned in the literature or the frame box so I ordered a tapered steerer fork. I ended up having to grind down the headset compression ring to use the fork and it creaks a little but I really didn't feel like ordering another fork (for the straight steerer). They added the note on the website AFTER I called up asking how they were using a tapered steerer fork on the medium frame. My bottom bracket shell is undersized so the crankset has a lot of resistance. It ate my first bb in a week, second one has been a little better, I'm sure I removed some material getting the bb in and out of the shell, it was that hard. I'll be sending in the frame for warranty soon, one more race this year on the mtb. The seat stays are so thick my heels hit them all of the time. Bottom line it's not a well engineered or manufactured frame.
