Considering a 2013 Dragon 650B what to modify?

Hi All,
i am looking to test ride the 2013 Dragon 650B (the LBS will get this mid Jan), no 2012 in stock..
What i wanted to ask the forum, is about the spec
Looking at it, what i would to change is the crank from 3X10 to 2X10 (hopefully to put a bash guard), and quick release for the seat post
Can the tires hold in a rocky environment? (i weight a bit less then 70K, and don't jump)
Do i need to mind anything else?

And a follow up, my main dislike is using a dropper post which is hard to find at 27.2 (i like the reverb), what are u guys doing?

Nothing against the Jamis but you just might want to wait for the Kona Explosif 650B. It's got some features the Jamis lacks and should be available in the spring.

WoW, that's spot on! just missing the seatpost diameter to see if one can fit a dropper
