There is enough room (with the spacer mod) for the Neo-Moto tire as well. Neo and Quasi are the only 650b tires I own so I cannot comment on others.
It is an XC/trail setup; weight as it stands in that photo is 27lbs, but there is room to shave weight here and there. The seat and handlebars would be the 1st two places to start.
As always the 650b roll just that little bit better than 26" over the rocks and roots of the BC coast. I don't notice the higher BB. Handling is spot on for trail riding. I took it through an old Super-D course here on Vancouver Island and it let me keep speed, carve corners and have fun.
Photos stay this size cause "bigger is better".

Wow, awesome bike, I love my haro sonix 650b but miss the 27 pound weight. My first FS was a 97 proflex which weighed 27 that weight just seems stupid expensive to reach these days. Anyway that's a sweet looking bike you got there!
