650b cross/gravel/road tires?
What's everybody running as a mixed surface tire for the 650b? I can't seem to find anything in the 'cyclocross' designation for 650b... so is there something out there that people are using for mixed rides? I'm thinking something in the 2.0 or less range?
I'm seeing the panaracer col de la vie and the pasela thrown around a lot along with the neo and quasi motos.
Something like the Kenda Happy Medium or Kwicker might be nice in the future.

Well, if the tire will be strictly used for CX / gravel / road AND you have some 29er wheels ... 700c Happy Mediums 40's work well and are the same diameter as a 2.1 650b tire.
I don't know anything about 650b CX tires, though.

Maybe Schwalbe Marathons. They are not cx tires but I don't see any better option at the moment.... should work well on road/gravel.

I pulled my NeoMotos off, since I'm usually riding mixed terrain / more pathish stuff ant the Neos were overkill, felt like I was wasting them. Currently running Conti TourRides, Continental Tour Ride 650B x 42 (26 x 1 1/2) - 10124 , they're good. There's a wider version, wish I had them instead, but they weren't available when I got these. Another option might be the Fatty Rumpkin, too.... If you wait a day or two, there should be a newer heavy-duty version of the Rumpkin available...

Check Rivendell. Grant probably has what you need there.

Re: 650b cross/gravel/road tires?
Already called Riv. They're still waiting on the new fatty rumpkin and didn't really have or know of anything else available ....other than what we deemed to be more on the 650b road side of things. i.e. De Bois or nifty swifty.
Looking into the Col DeLaVie but might wait it out for a review of the new Fatty, if it ever shows up.
Thanks for the replies

I've been running the GB Hetre as a dirt road/mild (dry, hardpack) trail tire and its fine for that. If you want something more trail worthy and you have the clearance for it, I'd think one of the 4 smaller tires in this guide
27.5 Tire Size Reference
would be worth considering. I know of a few guys that run the QuasiMoto, for example, as a mixed terrain tire and like it fine.
Also, I believe that Kirk has hinted at a 'cross sized "minimoto" in the works. No ETA or anything but he's said "it's coming."
