2011 Scott Spark RC Carbon Build
What fork should I go with? I will be building this into a 100mm xc race rig and would like to use Racing Ralphs.
X Fusion Velvet RL2 26/27.5 Specific
Cannondale Lefty (not sure exactly what I would need to make a Lefty work on a standard 1-1/8" headtube)
Older Fox Float 32mm Stantions (not sure what model / years will work)
From what I understand none of the Rockshox forks will work, am I right or wrong here?
Weight is a priority for the build
Any insight would be much appreciated. Just jumping into the 27.5 scene.

A 650b wheel definitely fits into the back?

These guys have some stuff to help with Lefty forks.

I thought that it was established that Scott Sparks don't fit 650b, so I am very intrigued by this thread.

Thanks. I have done some digging and found a picture of a 2011 Spark RC with 650b front and back. I won't be 100% positive until I test fit the wheels and tires but I will keep you updated.

how about the DT swiss front fork? I want to do the same project on 2010 spark RC
Could you make more pictures about the space between rear wheel and triangle?

Testing the rear at compression is what looks like will be the tricky part. The tire might run into the seat tube.

I am planning to put 650b wheels on scott rc 2010. I will send the rear shock to a service, do i ask to do bushing for that shock or not?
Thanks,

I think I have read quite a few posts that 650b is OK for the rear on older Sparks like on the photos above. I was planning to convert my 2008 Spark 10 too, but just couldn't find a light-enough fork to keep the weight and geometry close to my 26" build to give it a go. Any neew ideas would be great!

I am planning to put new fox fork 26" with ctd, but have no ideas how to do twin lock to work with fox fork instead of dt swiss?

Here's a pic of the bike. Running Stans Crest wheels.
I will also be using a 2010 Fox Float RLC Fit in the front.

Could you include some pictures of the fork, I will like to see the clearance on the arch and on the crown with the fork deflated.

Finding the right colors for your frame, Lefty is a perfect match for the spark 2011. Also with the benefit to fit a 29er if you wish, I did and I'm loving it!
