whos gone 1x10 with Shimano Zee?

what are your experiences with this shifter/derailleur setup? The Price seems right, is it functional and durable as well?

That's the set-up I have right now, although on a 26" bike. It's the first time I've installed any stuff lower than XT (Shimano) or X9 (SRAM). So far I'm impressed. Tight, responsive, trouble free. Shadow + keeps everything silent. Can't really talk about long-term though...

I'm actually curious on these brakes, seems like you could get a four pot for not an outrageous price?

I have been happy with my Zee 1x10 setup so far.
For the price Zee is hard to beat.
No dropped chains, shifts smoothly, quiet, feels well made and durable.
    Just pedal, brake, steer, smile.

I have it on my Tallboy and have about a month on it with no complaints. Shifts well, rides quiet, and doesn't drop the chain.

edit: first dropped chain today in about 30-40 hours of riding.

I'm thinking about this RD vs the XT. Will the Zee work with a 2X set up. I'm thinking of running 24/36 up front and 11-36 back?

Using zee with xt shifter and xt 11-36 cassette, fsa dh 34t chainring, and it works flawlessly.

So, is this Shadow+ worth it? I mean, I hear it's great and all, but I don't know.
I have an XTR M980 shifter with a modified X0 RD. It was a long cage, but now it's a short cage with increased tension in both the cage spring and the parallelogram spring (long story). I don't even remember the last time I dropped the chain, and I only run a top guide. I rarely backpedal on the hilly N. GA trails, even on the technical sections. I guess I just have some upgraditis. How much does the shifting effort increase? I love the super light XTR shifter.
    Bamboo is real.
