Friend has a kona honzo, and he bought some x9 2X10 cranks to replace the stock (heavy) isis setup.
Months ago he tried to buy a singlespeed chainring from homebrew components but has had to give up on that path.
What are some good (affordable) options in the 32 or 33T range? Should he go for 80 mm or 120 mm BCD? Will probably run a taco bash guard, so no bash ring needed. 120 spider would ensure tons of CS clearance but 80 mm spider would give a better chainline when he's applying torque on the bigger rear cogs.
He has a 1X9 drivetrain.
