What are my options for a rigid fork

I have a Giant XTC and going to make it into a road/cross bike for spring and fall road rides. I want to put a rigid fork on it but I am not sure whats out there for tapered head tube and 15mm through axle. Any suggestions and I dont wan to blow a huge wad on it either 200-300 range. I dont care about materials, most likely cromo or ali to keep the price down.

Check out Carver Bikes. They have a 15mm through axle carbon fork for $299. It is suspension corrected for a 120mm fork at 490mm axle to crown - I'm not sure if that is too long for you. I am using their standard tapered 29er carbon fork and it seems very sturdy - I'm well over 200 lbs.
