Hello All ~ newBee on upgrades, I have a '13 Hardrock Sport 29er. I have about 300miles on it now and I want to raise my bars up. I feel ALOT of pressure On my palms and too me if I wasn't leaning so hard on my grips I could alivieate some of this palm pressure = raise my bars by swapping in a raised bar, yes/no?
Here is what Specialized says is on my bike:
Stem = Alloy , 4bolt clamp, 10deg rise, 25.4mm
Handlebars = Specilaized Flat Bar, alloy, 660mm wide, 8deg backsweep, 4deg upsweep, 25.4mm
So I would like ot swap out the "flat bar" for a raised one.
Any input on this would be great!
I plan to swap the XCT fork out for "air shock" but not quite yet. Stock is 80mm if I put in a 100mm shock will this "raise" my front geometry?
Speak to me ole' wise MTBers :-)
