Tubeless pressure for XC mountain riding.

While I am waiting for my new tubeless wheel set, impatiently might I say, I was wondering what tire pressure is more adequate for eastern mountain XC riding? My riding type is lots of climbing in rocks, roots and dirt in technical and fast up and down runs on dirt.

What tire pressure are your tires set at and what type of trails do you ride?

XC on varied terrain. Locally it's mostly hardpack with roots and logs but no naturally occurring rocks. An hour or two north or south and there are more rocks(quarries), roots, and sand. I leave the psi the same for everything.

Depends on rider weight, terrain, riding style, tire size and wheel width.

205lbs, hard pack, rooty, rocky, loose, XC smallish drop offs, I ride pretty much everything. 2.25 Nic front, 2.25 Ardent rear on a 17mm internal width wheel.

I can't go under 27psi upfront or I feel the sidewalls rolling under. Rear under 28psi = burping under hard cornering with a touch of brake, so I usually run 29-30psi.

You want to ideally run as low as possible without sidewalls rolling, burping or bending wheels. You will need to experiment! That's half the fun IMO.
