    Tubeless conversion (non-tubeless ready stuff)

Is it possible to convert WTB speed disc AM rims and Geax Saguaro tires to tubeless? I don't want to attempt it and ruin something in the process. What tools/products would I need to do it?

Thanks in advanced. Never gone tubeless before and don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on new rims/tires if I don't need to.

That makes sense. I've been on here a lot lately. Waiting for my first 29er to arrive in the mail!

I have Geax Saguaros on two bikes, both tubeless...
One is on Crests, piece of cake. The other is on Salsa Semis which have stickers in them that say "Not For Tubeless Systems". Also easy to set up and trouble free.
My daughter's bike has Speed Discs on it but they are not tubeless... Not because I don't think they can be, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I used Gorilla Tape, Stan's Valves and sealant and Schwalbe Nobby Nic performance series with no probs on my WTB Speed Disc 29s. Even inflated with just floor pump.

If you google around you can find info on Gorilla tape tubeless.

Use the Stan's instructions for the rest and you should be good.

Go for it. I saved enough on tubes to pay for the setup. Three months with no flats (knock knock).
