    Trance x 29er seatpost question

It seems like $40 would be reasonable considering the Reverb is a hydraulic remote which is more complicated to route than cable actuated. Also the frame has no external cable mounts making routing thought the frame the only clean instal option. If you purchased the post from the same shop doing the instal and paid retail then perhaps labor would be included.

Yes I would, because its time consuming to reroute the cable inside the frame.
