Tool to remove bottom bracket on stumpjumper comp 29er HT
trying to change my bottom bracket and i need the tool to remove the non drive side. The nut appears to be that like a spanner nut. I am not sure of the exact tool number i need to purchase. Any help would be appreciated.

What crank? You want the tool to remove the non-drive side crank arm or bottom bracket?

Trying to remove the bottom bracket. It is a press fit type bottom bracket. The bike is a bb30 set-up. I have found a few press kits, but want to make sure i find the right one before buying.

Here are the tools you need to remove and install Press Fit bottom bracket (PF30): Park Tool Co. » BBT-90.3 : PressFit Bottom Bracket Bearing Tool Set : Bottom Bracket
Very similar to the tools used to install and remove headset cups... and in fact you need a headset press along with the cups in this kit to do the install.
The removal tool looks like the same one so if you have access to a headset cup removal tool it might work.

This is exactly why as consumers we should not purchasing bikes from manufacturers using press fit

Every bottom bracket standard requires specialized tools, so I don't think PF30 is that much worse than the others. I personally had to purchase tools for square taper and external BBs, but for press-fit I was able to make do with bearing cups and a headset press I already had so it was actually the cheapest one for me.
