Spesh Butcher control tire real world weight

hey all. i have one of these tires 2.3 29 (of course) and it's a pretty sweet tire. soft compound 50 or lower, quiet and smooth, good grip. mine seems way heavier than advertised though. like over 900g heavy. anyone else have experience with this tire and observed weights?

    Is it true to size?

I'm hunting for tires for a new AM hard tail build.

How about running it up front? Make for a good front sticky?

No, its smaller than advertised. I get around 2.22 on an older Flow rim.

Came stock on my new enduro. Would highly recommend. Have not weighed it. Hooks up well, loose, wet, rocks seems a great do all front tire for rocky New England trails.

Got it on the front. It's a beast. Never even come close to breaking traction.

Mine was 870g and its one of the best front tires I have used. If you weigh other brand tires you might find they are a bit heavier than their listed weight.

By far my favorite front tire. Not sure about the weight, stop caring about the weight after putting this tire on. Purgatory out back and it's a great combo.
