Some times you just do stupid things

So I build myself a KHS 29er FS and it's not the first bike I have built so you think you have checked everything and low and behold you have an issue and even though it's right infront of your face you miss it. My crank was creaking like hell so I checked it and it was loose, no biggie I had the 10 mil alan key in my bag, so I crank it and the damn crank wont turn if I torque it. So I back it off and ride with no issue and decide I will fix it when I get home. I take it all apart look at everything, it all looks good, the spacers are on the crank and put it back together, torque it SAME DAMN THING WTF! So I am well something is wrong so I grab my calliper and measure the BB housing SOB its 72 not 68 1 to many BB spacers, remove one and its works perfectly. How the hell did I miss that during assembly.
