Just finished cleaning and lubing my CK rear hub with 10 wt synthetic oil. I was hopeing for them to buzz quit a bit louder, NOPE , very smooth as before, but now quiter than they were with the grease. as i said they are working smooth and engage instantly but i sure would like to get that BUZZZ going on.

To get the buzz, you're supposed to NOT service the hubs. My DT 240s haven't been serviced in years and get thousands of hard miles. They are loud, so loud that people make remarks about them when I fly by them.

Because what every precision manufactured component loves is neglect and a lack of preventive maintenance.
