    seatpost opinions for emd9

I have always ran easton posts on my other bikes and my fiances bike with no issues but I am building up a new emd9 and so far have a non easton cockpit. I am looking at a Thomson masterpiece, Easton Ec90 or a Crankbrothers cobalt 11. I can get any of the three for around $100 so price is not a real consideration I am going to be running a Fizik carbon railed saddle so it has to play nice with the carbon rails. I am running Crankbrothers bars and stem but am not positive how the non standard clamp will work with the Fizik saddle. Like the idea of the dampening of carbon but heard so much good about Thomson want to try them and can get a masterpiece for the best price at $80 while the other 2 are $99. Help looking for real world experiences.

Used the Loaded parts for my GF's EMD 9.

Seatposts to me are like stems. To me...they make very little difference in performance. Get whichever one you like the looks of best.

I've run the Easton EC90 and Thomson...felt no difference. Switched to a Loaded 0 setback on my Spesh Carve from a Thomson setback...can't tell the difference.

    Finished this weekend.

    Quick n dirty pic...
