I've been considering some of those as well. I also have vigors (rs model) on my road bike and like them. Friends that have run Rolf mtb wheels have had good luck. Doesn't seem to be much info on these in actual use. I'd sure rather support Rolf than spec, the warranty and price of the specialized wheels is making it tough though.

If it's not powered solely by you, it's a motorcycle.

It would be nice to see both a rim profile view and an interior measurement. CX in the name suggests a lack of width.$1200 price point would be more competitive.
I'd venture to guess that the "CXC" denotes "Carbon XC", not "CX" as in "Cyclocross".
I know in the past Rolf has used White Industries as their hub supplier, not sure if this is the case with this wheelset. So, if these hubs are made by WI, US manufactured hubs and hand built wheels in Eugene, Oregon is a plus in my book.
At 27mm outside width, these would fall between the Enve 29 XC and AM rims.
I only ride bikes to fill the time when I'm not skiing.
I am considering purchasing these wheels as well... anyone has actually ridden them? I am 220 fully loaded rider wight and aggresivee all mountain rider, My previous wheels usually get a lot of side hits due to loose rocks where I ride. I am wondering if these wheels being carbon would hold up. Any insight is appreciated.
