Replacement for the Weirwolf LT race 2.55 tire

Anybody have any suggestions for a replacement for the discontinued 29" WTB Weirwolf LT Race 2.55" Tire?
I'm looking for something super high volume, relatively fast rolling, with low profile knobs. The Ardent 2.4 won't quite fit, so I need something that has lower profile side knobs. The Bontrager 29-4 kind of fits, but I still get some rub. The Purgatory while fast rolling on dirt is a little too slow on the pavement segments of my rides. Any ideas? Anything I'm overlooking? Anybody know of any suppliers of the Weiwolf LT race? The new Weirwolf looks like a bit too much for what I need.

Was in the same boat. I had many years in the LT. You can find them occaisionally on eBay. Going by looks alone Geax had a model or two that looked like high volume, low knobbage.

One thing I've been finding is that appearance or size of the knobs does not play as much a role in RR as I use to think. So I stuck with a Purgatory I had myself.
