    Rear shock + stem

    Hi
    Currently looking for a new rear shock not sure which one to go with..
    I currently have a rockshox monarch r lm
    (Giant Trance X 29er 2)

    Also looking to get a new stem but can't choose between
    Renthal or Thompson

    HELP!

    What's your budget?

    that's one of the lowest level, decent air shocks around. tons of options for upgrades. all depends on how much you want to spend and what you ride. Fox is great if they have that length available.

    What's wrong with the stem? Any decent stem will work, it's more a question of which bling you want? More important to have the right size (angle/length).

    Rear shock say a few hundred pounds
    And stem would like a shorter stem, friend just bought the renthal for his specialized camber and liked the feel but that's a 26" and the overall feel is different compared to my 29
    Looking back I should have bought the next model up as you get quite a bit more for ya buck but didn't realise how into biking I would get
