    RCT3 damper

Can anyone tell me is the RCT3 damper the same for a 26 or 29er SID fork? How about travel, 80/100/120, same damper? Is the damper the same for 2012 and 2013 fork?

    Appreciate any feedback.

    RCT3 damper

The damper should be the same for 26 and 29, however, with the SID they do have different part numbers for each travel, and yes, most of the 2013 stuff is numbered differently than 2012 I believe. I say go to your LBS and have them check their supplier books

Thanks for the info. I have a SID RLT 29er solo air so it is a 2103, 110 mm travel. I just need to drill down to the damper part # as you say.

    Re: RCT3 damper

Actually, dampers are the same. Just called sram a few days ago about that. Qbp lists the rct3 damper as 120mm, but that is for the sid chassis, which goes UP to 120. So any sid 120 or less uses the same damper.

They air springs are different for each travel length now. With my solo air revelation, i found out the hard way that the all travel spacers are the wrong way to do it on the newer solo air stuff.

P.s. i'll have an XX damper with remote for sale by friday night. Changing my XX worldcup sid 29 to rct3.

    Re: RCT3 damper

Got the Sid RCT3 damper marked as the 120 SID B, same length as the XX damper I took out of my 100mm SID XX

I'm thinking of switching over from XX to RCT3 as well, let me know how the ride quality compares. Thanks!

    Re: RCT3 damper

When the rct3 is open, it is the same as XX unlocked. When rct3 is in the lock position, it is the same as XX locked. Rct3 also has a middle setting. Plus it has adjustable low speed compression that xx doesn't have.
