Race X Lite Wheels flexy?

180lbs+ gear on carbon hard tail riding XC running tubes. I want as light as i can get within reason but dont want to sacrifice stiffness. Are these wheels going to be too flexy? (my pet peeve).

FWIW I found Mavic wheels have been much more stiff than Race X Lites on my road bike. Do you think the crossmax SLRs would be stiffer than Bontragers or do you have better recommendation?

My husband ran a Race Lite on the front of his 29er steel hard-tail and was not happy with the bike when he rode it hard and pushed his speed speed (he was hitting trees). He tried a number of things that didn't work, but when he changed out the Race Lite for a stiffer wheel (not sure exactly which wheel but it was a Specialized on loan from a friend), the problem went away. He's about 165 lbs without gear.
