Anyone know if this would fit a ironhorse sinister 6.2?

It will probably fit but since it's a full suspension you should check the width of the bottom bracket shell and the current chain line before picking out a crank.

Well I would try to use the crank I have now, untill I upgrade that. I was told first thing I should upgrade is the bottom bracket on the bike to a sealed unit.

I'm not 100% sure, but according to the internet, that crankset appears to be a Square Taper unit. Which means you would need a Square Taper Bottom Bracket (not an External Bottom Bracket), unless you want to replace your crankset too.

    is this your bike?
    Sinister 6.2

if it is, searching the crankset I found this
    MA-A443+ | Prowheel

which is where I got the square taper from.

The x-type bb is an external bearing bb which works with a thru axle crankset. It will not be compatible with your current crankset. That said, it should fit in your bb shell. It will fit 68-73mm bb shells with or without the use of spacers.
    No fuss with the MUSS

wow this gets kinda convoluted with all these different types and what not.
But I get it now. Thank you. Just saved me from buying something that wouldn't work.

You guys are awesome. I found a thread here on the forum talking about ST BB and EXT BB and the differences. So I see where some people differ on the point of view.

So Im thinking I might need to measure to find out the mm of the shell BB. Ive had multiple people tell me 68 but no definite answer. So ill have to get a ruler.

That bottom bracket will fit the bike but won't work with that crank.
