    New seat wear and tear

Am I just being a weirdo or something thinking this should not happen after one 5 mile ride to a brand new seat

Are you talking about the white stuff near the nose?

All my WTB saddles wear rather quickly in terms of the painted graphics/logos. All are quite faded. Never bothered me one bit.

Probably not for a saddle that lists at $130, but that's the way a lot of parts are these days. Hopefully you didn't pay anywhere near that much for it... Its pretty hard to tell from you picture, is that the nose of the saddle?

    MSRP is for suckers.

And that definitely is the nose. I've had the Valcon carbon saddle, purchased from Chainlove last year and it was rather uncomfortable, almost as bad as the Silverado. I have the Devo/Deva now and love it.

Wouldn't bother me one bit unless it started to rip open. Every wtb seat ive owned wears really fast and eventually the covers start to come off and need to be stapled back on. But i deal with it since i get them on sale. Overall they are a great value and work well.

It bothers me more when a part looks brand new with no dirt or scuffs. Looks like the bike never gets ridden.
