I bought a NOS group from a forum member elsewhere, everything was new in sealed box except for the cassette. While it still seems brand new, when I removed it from the bubble wrap, the 14t cog was missing. The cassette is a XG-1080, a very nice and expensive cassette that I would like to use with my XO group. However given that the top 7 cogs are one connected piece, and the bottom three (11, 12, 14) are loose with integral spacers, it seems that I am hard up until I can find a 14t cog with that machined in spacer on the backside. SRAM said if I had the original packaging (which I do not) I could take it to a dealer for warranty (which seems sketchy anyway).
Thoughts or suggestions?
Or if anyone is holding on to a used cassette with that cog I need, I would like to purchase it from you!
