    Upset Mavic spoke creak

I have a mavic st 29er wheel set that has extreme spoke creaks in the rear wheel, so I lubed up the spokes in the hub and no luck! Just as annoying and as before, any other solutions to fix this problem.[CODE][/CODE

Mavic bladed spokes are notorious for chirping like Crickets. If you cannot tolerate them - good thing there is always another potential buyer, lusting for Mavic wheels.

Yeah, the all do that. I'm not sure why they are so popular. I guess they are kinda light and stiff.

If you want to temporarily cure that, I hear (and you might wanna do some research to back it up before doing this) you can de-lace them, clean and grease the spoke ends, and put them back together.

Creak Cured (for about 6 months, at which time you do it all over again)!!

    I hate 'system' wheels.

At first they start making noise, then they start breaking spokes.
Alu is just not the ideal material for making spokes...
