New question here. Manitou tower pro 120mm straight crown/steerer assembly

Does anyone know of an online seller that sells this part?

The thing is, I got a tapered 120 and it didn't fit my 44mm headtube (butted). If it were a really straight 44mm, then it will fit...

So I'll just replace it with a straight one until i get the chance to change my frame...

Yes I already have one... cc forty zs44/ec40... The fit of the headset is fine, but its the steerer that won't get in.

For illustration purposes, see the image below. The top/bottom ends are 44mm

From the bottom, as you insert the tapered steerer, as the larger portion of it gets deeper, it tends to bind with the narrow section of the head tube, hence unable to push the steerer completely.

I'm left with about 10mm of space between the lower cup and the crown race and it won't get in. For illustration purposes, it binds somewhere between S and E above...

i can't return the fork because i don't live in US, plus its been in my stash for quite sometime already and I just got the chance to work on it yesterday.

it's a PITA going through my LBS where I live, so I prefer getting from US directly; hence looking for an online seller.

I do not think you can replace just the steer tubes on the towers.

yes, i'm aware of that... what i need is the whole upper... steerer, crown, etc.. but just the upper that's straight.

reba's are scattered in the net, just having difficulty finding for manitou... might be just anyone encountered somewhere...

Talk to Manitou direct. They are extremely helpful. Last time I needed a part for my Manitou Nixons that I couldn't find anywhere they just ended up posting it to me downunder for free. They will either help you out with the part or direct you to someone that can sell you one.
