New question here. Giant Talon 0 29er - 120mm Fork?

Can I fit RS Reba RLT 120mm fork on my '13 Talon 0 29er? Looking to upgrade the stock RS XC30 fork.

If the bike came standard with a 100mm fork then I would fit a new 100mm fork.

This question gets asked all the time. The answer is always yes you can fit a 20mm longer than standard fork with out any major problems.

A longer fork doesn't necessarily mean a better handling or more capable bike.

last question, the RS XC30 has 9mm QR but my lbs only has the RS Reba RLT Maxle Lite 15mm.

will the 15mm axel be compatible?

Nope, ask the LBS if there is a conversion kit for the front hub. Likely no.

You can't go from a dedicated QR hub to a 15mm. So no go. Don't be afraid of going 120 either... I went with a White Brothers 120 on my Kona Hei Hei which is supposed to have a 100. Made it feel a little more like a "trail" bike than an "XC" with the slacker headtube angle... and more travel is a bonus too
