Flat Handlebars - Enve Sweep

So, I'm looking to get some drop on my long travel 29r and it seems a combination of slammed stem and flat handlebars is going to be the answer. Are there a good number of people that make this change on their 29er's? With the stock stem slammed and riser bars on, I get my seat and handlebars just about even and looking to lose about an inch to 1/2 inch...
Who's riding the Enve's with the 9 degree sweep? How do you like them?

I just got a 29er with a 140 mm fork. The front is definitely tall. I swapped out the 1/2 riser bar I had for a flat Race Face Atlas Freeride bar. Its wide, low and I turned it forward just a bit to make the sweep go a little up. I've only had one ride on it, but I feels lower and I feel like I can keep the front wheel planted on steep climbs.

I'd say go for it, there are some nice wide flat bars out there.

I have 9 degree sweep flat bars and for me they are perfect. I drool over the enve ones on occasion.

Thanks for the responses. As you mentioned VTSession, keeping the front wheel down on steep climbs is the goal. The All Mountain geo is nice as going down steep rocky descents has never been easier or faster. However, climbing steep things is fun, and in the past has been a strength when on a 26 inch wheeled hardtail.

I have the ENVE sweep on my singlespeed and love it. Also, I'm using the Easton XC70 wide flat (which had the same sweep AFAIK) on my FS - like it almost as much as the ENVE.

Minus-15 degrees and Enve flat sweep on my Scalpel ... but it's a little too low for me. I am changing to a Minus-5 degree stem.

You should check out Syntace's line of carbon bars. They are up to 740mm wide with height ranges from +10mm to -10mm, some are available with a 12 degree sweep which I prefer to 9 or 10. I am testing a flat version on my Pivot Les and like them better than my Enve bar.

The Ritchey WCS 2X Trail carbon bar is a really nice option as well. I just picked one up from my new Tallboy build. 710 wide, 9 degree sweep, can be run +5mm or -5mm rise. Mine weighs 180g. Fit and finish are really nice.
