Eternal question: Arch ex or flow ex???

Weigh 195-200lbs. Transition transam 29er, I can either get the Hope hoops ARCH EX, or Hope Hopes Flow EX (straight pull rear, regular front) for the same price.

I "enjoy" pedaling up just as much as going down. I do the majority of my riding in Mammoth, Tahoe and Vegas.

I run the widest tires I can get my hands on as well, currently ardent front purgatory rear (2.4 and 2.3 respectively).

I think you just answered your own question. Seems like everything you have mentioned is pointing towards the Flow EXs....

Just ordered the flows, but with front & rear straight pull.

Should put my bike at 29.6 lbs. Guess I'm not a weight weenie anymore...
