    Endurance wheelset

I'm building up a blunt wheelset for endurance racing. I don't want to spend more than 700 USD for spokes and hubs, I already have a pair of Velocity Blunt rims. I was thinking either I9 hubs or Hadley. I don't know much about spokes though, I want something double butted and strong and durable enough for hundreds of miles at a time.

Any ideas on any other possible hubs(high engagement preferably) and spokes. Please add prices if you know them.

Sapim CX Ray spokes are not double butted (their bladed) but they are lighter than most double butted spokes and very durable. I9 hubs have very high POE and are fairly light. Hadley's are a bit heavier, have pretty good POE and supposedly have very low seal drag. Would also suggest you consider Chris King hubs.

CX-Ray spokes are double butted before the center is cold forged into the bladed shape.

$3 is more than I want to spend on spokes, I was thinking around $1.50. I was looking at the Sapim Race spokes because of the price ($1), do you have any idea how those are?

    Sapim, DT, Wheelsmith...all good.

    Sapim Race = DT Competition.
