    Continental Mt King II 2.4

    Anyone tried this tire?

Original was undersized and knobs were flexy.
Good price and weight, good tire?
    For central TX rocky conditions?

So far I'm liking the Bonti 29-4, always looking for a better tire.
Nobby Nic disappeared quickly, waste of money, and a lot of it.

the rep I called at Highway 2 (Conti's distro) told me that only the Protection tire models are made to work as tubeless tires and the MK Protection only comes as large as 2.2. so if you want to go tubeless, your best bet is not to use this tire, but use the 2 2 Protection version instead.

    or get a Maxxis Ardent.

    Good to know.
    Definitely tubeless, prefer 2.4.

I'm doing a 2.4 front and rear on my RIP9. They measure 60mm on P35 rims at 30psi with tubes. Good for everything I have ridden so far.

I'm running these on my Spearfish on the front with X-king 2.2 on the rear. It suits my riding really well. It is also much lighter and rolls much faster than the Nevegal I have run in the past. So far I am very happy! It is similar to a Purgatory s-works I ran in the past as well.
