    Component ranking list

    I saw somewhere on here a perons put a list together ranking all the components but now i can seem to find it. Can anyone hlep me find it or point me in the correct direction.

    Component ranking list

    SRAM: XX/XX1, X0, X9, X7, X5
    Shimano: XTR, XT, SLX, Deore, Alivio
    Shimano DH: Saint, Zee

    Depending on who you ask, XTR and XX are on par with each other, where X0>XT (still a matter of preference, probably), X9=SLX (big improvements to SLX these days), X7>Deore, and X5 + Alivio = who cares.

    I'm sure some will quibble with that...

    Old thread but I was looking up this exact info.

    My cranks say Deore XT. Where does that fit in? Are they just Deore? Are they XT? Something in between?
