? Cobl Gobbler road Seat post on a Yelli Screamy?

    Hey all,
I'm thinking of trying the Specialized Cobl gobbler post on my Yelli. For $200, minimal weight gain, I'd get a little rear cush. Other than having the shim it, I can't think of any down sides. Any thoughts out there?

That clamp design sucks for mtb use. And I'm personally not a fan of shimming posts - have always had issues - either too tight or too loose.

Let me suggest the best post I've ever used - the syntace hi flex. I have one on my yelli. Its very forgiving and has the best clamp I've ever used (it's a variation of the thomson clamp with even better seat rail support).
