    Chub Hub problems

    I was trying to change the bearings of my Chub hub to start a new build and I am end with this.

    I hit the axle with a hammer and one of the flanges came appart.
    It is glue together do you think is safe trying to glueing againg and if so what type of glue I must use.

    WHOA!

    That might work, but I would contact the hive/e13 or whatever name they are using right now just to see what they say.

    you would have to align it correctly so that your spoke holes werent way out of line. i would contact manufacture for sure!

    Hey Midle Age Warrior was this the 15/20 thru front axle? If so could please share the bearings size and where you were able to source them?

    Good quality super glue would probably do it, but yes, don't try anything till you talk to them. You only want to do it once.

    since I am not in the states the information about where I got them is not relevant but about the numbers I will check tomorrow and let you know, but for sure you could get them in any place that sales bearings they are not bicycle industrie specific design

    Hi Midle Age Warrior, I'm not in the US either, I'm in Europe. I found the original bearings here: http://www.silverfish-uk.com/Product...A-hubs-25x37x7 : Size should be 25x37x7, could you confirm that?

    Were you able to fix the hub btw? I will get a bearing press for sure!
