Ran over a about a 6 inch long 1 inch thick stick, that apparently got wedged just right in between spokes and derailleur and snapped the whole thing off lucky I didn't break any spokes.
Just replace the hanger unless you have the itch to get a new ride. Would probably be the cheapest option. You may need to check alignment of the hanger after you install it.
OR convert it to a single speed, then you don't need to worry about derailleur hangers
