    Anyone running a 2012 29er SID WC at 120mm?

    What's up guys
I am building up a Jet 9 RDO, and with so many people loving the bike with 120mm up front, I'd like to have the option to go to 120mm, but will start at 100.

So, I am about to purchase a 2012 dual air SID World Cup. It is advertised as 80/100.

I've searched and found nothing about being able to run the World Cup 29er SID at 120mm, but the non World Cup version, XX, can be set to run at 120mm with the spacer.

I thought the only difference between XX and WC was the carbon steer. What would prevent me from running 120mm on the 29er World Cup? Anyone doing this?

    Thanks,
    -Steve

I was wondering the same, 120's seem rare otherwise!

    Gee-Moment,
Looks like 100mm is the limit, no way to run it at 120.

    http://cdn.sram.com/cdn/farfuture/AD..._spc_rev_c.pdf

    On page 33:
    5. Maximum fork travel = 100mm. Upper tube gradient includes ONLY 100mm and 80mm.
    - Internals and chassis parts designed for SID for 120mm max travel are NOT compatible.

    The answer is maybe.
Take it apart. Their tec docs are less than accurate.
I do know some World Cup guys have 110 and 120 forks....whether it's an easy mod or they have custom stuff is anybody's guess.
