I have Redline hubs and Alex rims (DH 19) on my Monocog. I also have Alex rims and Shimano hubs on another bike. Both wheels sets are OK.

The Redline hubs seem to be working ok. The wheels might be worth a try.

I think they're decent. They came stock on my Redline Monocog. The front wheel has came out of true after a couple hundred miles of bumpy terrain (rigid fork). Note that I'm about 270 pounds on top of them.
