Heavy? Shiite, they weigh less than 9 lbs. Cool looking is soooo much better than performance anyway. Parking Lot Poser's for life.

    Think about downhilling on those!

Once you're up to speed, nothing short of the West Bank Barrier would even register as a bump!

When I was a kid in the 80's I had a set of Nylon Composite wheels on my BMX bike. Seems to me Al would not be the way to go for a bicycle mag wheel.

    1840g front wheel
    2040g rear wheel

    Holy crap Batman.
I crashed hard enough on my Tallboy to break my leg,
The carbon is way more durable than most people.

Misuse of possessive 's for life!

Yeah, that's pretty heavy... not to mention, those kinds of wheels were way flexy. Those ones don't even look like they have an aero profile around the spokes.

Wow, 1840g for the front, 2040g for the rear. A good 29er wheelset these days runs 1850g for the set. So, you just added 4 pounds of rotating mass to your bike.

So, not only are they heavy and slow you down, they're probably flexy making it hard to pick and stick to good lines in the techy stuff, and slow you down at speed!

    Lose, lose, LOSE!

Well, I guess they are kinda cheap... kinda.

Reminds me of my old BMX MotoMag Wheels.....weighed a ton, even for a 20" wheel.
