    29rs and budget XX-10?

I and to go 1x10 but I need a wide range cassette to do it. I am really interested in this.Exclusive: Take Your 11-36 Cassette to the Next Level with OneUp Components? 42t Sprocket But my question is this. Is there going to be more damage to a freehub body with something like this to a 29r wheel then a 26? The interface is so small and you're putting a lot of torque to the freehub.

It looks like the base is wide enough that you should be OK

Not sure why it would have a different affect on a 29" wheel compared to a 26", the free hub body is the same size on both. There is a thread in the "Drive train" forum with the title of "budget XX1" that is discussing this subject. Someone from OneUp has chimed in.
