    29er Wheel Build

    Hey guys, first post!

I'm building up a wheel set with some NoTubes Arch EX 29 rims and DT Swiss 350 hubs. I have all of my parts except spokes, BUT, when i ordered my rear hub they sent me a thru axle hub, and I need a quick release. When i ordered it, it said it was a 135mm hub and COMPATIBLE with a thru axle. Anybody know of a way i could run the thru axle on my C-dale SL2 29er frame? or conversion kits for the hub?

    Thanks for reading!

You need a RWS thru-bolt skewer. This gives you a stiffer rear than a standard QR.

I've been using this on my ArchEx/Dt build for the last year with excellent results. Just check it for tightness periodically.
You can also change the endcaps. Call Dt for the part number.
I used Supercomp spokes and would use brass nipples because of corrosion after a year with aluminum.
I used stainless washers from ZTR on the DS to give the rim some protection with 125kgf tension.
