29er tire for touring (needs to be good rolling, tough and long wearing)?

I have gotten a few suggestions and right now am in between the Schwalbe Smart Sams and Geax Saguaros. 2.25+ preferably. I'll be riding a mix of trails, tracks, gravel and pavement for 4 months and am planning on packing a spare. Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

The Smart Sam is a good choice. Get the single compound version if possible for longer wear.

Smart Sam Plus might be a good idea for touring...gives you the green guard puncture layer in it.

    Also Marathon Plus MTB

    Marathon Mondial
    Big Ben

Yeah, I wish they made the Mondial in a version that was wider than 2"... It's definitely the ultimate touring tire. I used them on my Troll for a trip from Mexico to Panama last winter...

Haven't used a Smart Sam, have used the Marathons and they are very good, but will also throw out the WTB Nano as another option if you want to really have something you can enjoy while riding the trails and that rolls and lasts forever on tarmac.

I've had good luck using the Geax Evolution, they roll really well and work decently well in dirt.
