    2009 Superfly fork

Just wondering if anyone knows whether the 2009 Gary Fisher standard fox fork is a tapered steerer or not?

I'm looking at converting all the parts acorss to a new frame, most likely a Niner SIR9 and was hoping most parts would be a straight swap.

Any help appreciated. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to this sort of thing so apologies if it's a dumb question. I couldn't find an answer in any of the trek archives.

    Not Tapered.
Worked at Trek/Fisher dealer 2008-2013. Only a little biased.

You need a lower headset piece Cane Creek makes. With it you can use a straight steerer fork in a tapered HT. Someone should come along with the part number or call Crane Creek.

    Thanks for that guys.

Should mean it will be compatible with the sir9 which is good.

    Cheers
