12x150 rear hub overkill or just right?

Just picked up a Banshee Prime with 12x150 dropouts (replaceable with 12x142)
Wondering if I should stick with the 150 spacing and build up a custom wheel or change to 142 and use my current wheel.

I know the 150 results in less dish so the whell will be laterally stiffer but are there any downsides?

Chainline can be a problem, completely from memory, if nothing else changes you move the chain outboard by approximately 3 gears on the cassette. I ran a 83mm crankset in a 73mm bb shell with a race face spacer kit to alleviate (years ago).
Not all 150mm hubs actually have better flange spacing, so do your research and make sure you get some real benefit for the effort.
