Is the warranty transferable on a Tallboy LTc

If I end up picking up a used Tallboy LTc is the warranty transferable or do you need to be the original owner if you ever have a warranty issue

    Santa Cruz Bicycles TALLBOYLT CARBON

    Limited Frame Warranty
Santa Cruz Bicycles will repair or replace at its option any frame it determines to be defective.
The warranty will be in effect for five years from the date of sale and applies to the original owner.
This warranty does not cover custom finishes.

    No-Fault Replacement
Santa Cruz Bicycles will make replacement parts available to the original owner at a minimal charge in the event of a crash or other non-warranty situation for the life of the bike.
I crashed hard enough on my Tallboy to break my leg,
The carbon is way more durable than most people.

So it looks like new may be the way to go in case you ever have an issue. I wonder what they consider a nominal fee if you crash the.bike and the frame needs replacement

Nope, aside from Nicolai I know of no mtb companies that allow the transfer of warranties.

    TBLT warranty

Its not a guarantee but my first Blur was out of warranty and SantaCruz replaced the frame at no cost. Usually crash replacement is at cost so approx. 50% of new, just a guess.

Just buy 99% shares in the bike then if the bike fails it can be coverd by the warranty because the 1st owner is still a legal owner.
